For being the first time making any sort of biscotti, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out! Even though I'm not a huge fan of baking, I do enjoy making bread and biscotti was no different. I loved making this although I'll have to admit the recipe in it's published form is pretty confusing. The way they explain certain steps can be written in an easier way so the recipe you see after the jump has been simplified by me so that anyone can easily follow along and not stop halfway through to Google what biscotti looks like in dough form.
We served this biscotti to some out of town visitors who loved it! And I have to agree! This biscotti is delicious even days after making it. The chewy cherries and crunchy pistachios add great texture and flavor.
